Without reading this “About” section, many of you will be totally confused about just what I am ranting about. Therefore, here is the context that puts it all in perspective.
First, the basic facts. I am a 44 year old white gay male. I manage a number of pet vaccine clinics that are operated inside Petco stores located in 4 states. That is my work. My passion, however, is frequently in conflict with my work. I am, first and foremost, a Free Market Capitalist. I find that any infringement on my right to earn a living within the limits of rational self-interest to be an act of aggression against me.
I decided that in 2008 I would document my encounters with government bureaucrats and their negative impact on me and my business measured in terms of wasted time and money. Sadly, there are so many of these, that I have elected to omit certain ongoing acts such as warrantless searches by TSA personnel and having to deal with the government imposed Postal Monopoly.
Not all of my life is dedicated to ranting against Government abuse. I escape from these stresses with the assistance of my two loving chihuahuas, Gracie Mae and Emma Lou
